Barb McKeever is just as big of a loser as Mike Rossi. In some ways her non-action is worse than Rossi's cheating because she continues to have the opportunity to do the right thing, but instead does wrong each and every day by not DQing Rossi. Rossi can't undo cheating at the Lehigh Valley Marathon and running Boston.
Rossi must have something on her and the race committee. There's no way that any sane person would put herself and the marathon through an internet mobbing to protect somebody like Rossi unless the alternative could somehow be worse.
Now what could Rossi have on Barb?

If you find something, post the page of the thread that it was found on. There will be a list of things that Rossi is suspected of saying, since we can't know for sure and there will also be a list of things that he has actually done, like "liking" photos of a 9 year old girl of one of his accusers, "liking" another one of a child in a cast, who had just broken a bone, the "they killed Kenny" that he posted as his Facebook picture right after disclosing Ken's address online... etc.
Most people don't care about marathon cheaters, but they cared about the "father of the year" story and they may care again if we show that Mike is a giant hypocrite, who calls other peoples' children "gimp" and "retarded".

Nope. They can say "such and such" lawyer wrote us a letter on behalf of Mike Rossi. As long as it's true, there is nothing wrong with saying who wrote to you. But, given that they've hidden the name of this thread, I doubt very much they want to wade into this fray.

At the heart of this is the confusion people have over the difference between "probable" vs. "possible". This is likely where VIA went so wrong. They focused on whether MR's 3:11 was a mere possibility, rather than if it was probable. A mere possibility is a ridiculously high standard which could rarely, if ever, be met. Nobody could ever be convicted of a crime if that was the standard, and it is not.
The question that VIA marathon really needed to consider is simply, is it probable that Mike Rossi ran the VIA marathon. It really isn't at all probable, based on the photographic evidence. If they then asked themselves, is it probable that Mike Rossi even ran a 3:11 marathon. Again, the answer is that really isn't probably that he ran a 3:11 marathon based on his past run results. When you combine the two questions, running a 3:11 marathon and not being photographed, it becomes so improbable as to be ridiculous to even consider that he did run a 3:11 marathon at VIA while not being photographed on the race course. It would have, and should have, been an easy decision to disqualify him, they were just asking themselves the wrong question and in doing so creating a standard of proof that was ridiculous.
