Mike, you cheated, and never ran the full 26.2 Miles in the 2014 Lehigh Valley Marathon. I blogged about it, and stated it as fact. You've got a rock solid case for libel..all you would have to do is prove that I am wrong, and you did complete the marathon. I would be required to provide my real identity. You want to know who I am, go ahead an sue me.

I actually don't like any of the name calling in this thread (people calling MR a POS is also not OK in my opinion, I don't know the man).
The only name or label that is acceptable to me in this thread is Mike Rossi: 2014 LVM Cheat. That's not calling anyone anything that hasn't been proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
I guess LMR has some associated label that would be accurate related to his past legal troubles, but apparently he paid his debt to society.
Kids, wives, girlfriends, etc. shouldn't be discussed here. Cheating at running should be.
LMR: I don't care who made it personal first, take the high road and resist.

Nope. I'm not afraid of an essential nobody in PA who cheated his way into Boston. He has tried to intimidate by doing weak and insufficient research on my name using google as his only tool then posting my home address and tried to imply that I was a registered sex offender which I took seriously enough to report to LR. I have nothing to hide and I will stand behind every statement I posted on this thread. I'm still willing to honor my original offer of a Garmin watch of Mr. Rossi's choice if he actually runs a 3:11 within a year from my original offer. As any skeptic I'm open to new evidence that could prove that Mr. Rossi is actually capable of a 3:11 marathon. He has provided none.
The fact that the LVM committee and RD were incompetent and didn't come to the same conclusion as any reasonable person with basic understanding of running physiology, math and social behavior would is just as sad as Mike Rossi's cheating. But I will not turn this into my life's work. I did my due diligence and research to satisfy my curiosity about the validity of his run at LVM. Based on all the evidence and lack thereof currently I am 100% certain that he did not run the 3:11 at LVM regardless of what other people think, say or act. For me to change my opinion on this matter Mr. Rossi would have to produce positive proof that he did run the race or at the very least show evidence that he was capable of such performance. To this day he provided neither. As far as I'm concerned the ball is in his court #RusselsTeapot.
As for the rest of the participant of the thread, it's inconsequential to me what they think or feel. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but they're not entitled to their facts. And currently the facts indicate nothing but that Mr. Rossi cheated at LVM to obtain a BQ time, he is a narcissist a-hole and a total douche nozzle.
If you consider that he didn't get a DQ and ran Boston a win then yeah, he won. If you consider his 15 minutes of internet fame a victory then yeah, he won. If you consider that there is a large amount of runners who think he's a lying, cheating scumbag he might not be such a winner. If you consider that he can no longer gloat and show his Athlinks profile to the world, not that it was all that stellar to begin with, then he might not be such a winner. If you consider that he had to bock and remove his entire blog that he worked so hard on then he might not be such a winner. If you consider that he will never ever live this down and there is a good chance that every race he visits he will have to explain his LVM performance then he might not be such a winner. Winner is in the eye of the beholder. In my eyes he's a loser and a sore one at that.
