Mike Rossi is a cheater.

Has anyone publicly come to Mike's defense? Family, running friend, other? There are about 10-12 people who have clearly identified themselves, called him a cheat, etc., but I can't think of a single person who has identified themselves and come to his defense (e.g., a friend saying they saw him on course, a running buddy that says he runs those paces all the time, etc.). My guess is there isn't anyone as it appears Mike "ran" this race in stealth mode for obvious reasons, and the supporters here are either trolls or Mike himself.

Anyway, whoever has that list of "facts" - you can add this as another data point.

Sadly, the only thing that's keeping this thread going is Ken and Mike's love/hate relationship, both personal and business.

Ken: He loves me, he loves not, he loves me, he loves me not, He loves me, he loves not, he loves me, he loves me not, He loves me,...

Sadly, the various evidence groups are not forthcoming with new evidence so we can get back to debating something really important.

How did his wife get to the finish to take his picture? Was she dropped off there before the race? She had to know he cheated when his car was at the finish?

How do you know his wife took the picture? If she did, then she helped him, probably drove him.

This was a low profile solo effort by Mike. Despite the fact he's the shy retiring type, he plucked up the courage to ask a stranger to take that photo.

Yeah. Tons of his friends on Facebook responded publicly after his non DQ.

Another "fact" that this group has "uncovered"

Just like these "facts":

"He only ran 15 MPW during his training"

"He's fat"

"It's his second marriage"

"He has a criminal record"

"He was not photographed on any part of the course except the finish"

"He wasn't sweating after the race"

"He didn't post about his BQ time on social media"

"He's a stay-at-home dad"

"His kids are getting bullied"

"His wife is divorcing him very soon"

Your "facts" are obviously much different than the actual facts of this case and than the facts the LVM committee used to clear Rossi.

This is the reason this little group is not taken seriously by anyone outside of your own little group.

Any of them say anything along the lines of they saw him on the course, they run with him and he's capable etc.? Hell, one of his fb friends thinks 4:01 is fast so they may not be runners with any real judgement on this (particularly in light of fact that his past and subsequent performances are out of whack and no pic on the course when every other runner has about 12 pics).

Oh, and he isn't in any photos at five checkpoints because, well, you know, he cheated.

At the end of the day the fact remains: Mike Rossi cheated. He knows it. We know it. He knows that we know it.

Everything else is an obfuscation.

When they sent all of the runners the email to buy their photos what exactly did they send Mike?

A couple of photos of a guy dressed like a secret service agent, drenched in water, crossing the finish line with his head down.

Or, to put it another way, a guy who looks nothing like Rossi ever looked in other races where he had a "look at me" outfit.
