Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

So here we go. Johnny Two Times was right. Pretty much all of the posts defending Mr. Rossi were coming from the same IP address.
The following posts all came from IP: 98.235.239.44 which when I look it up is Comcast Cable - Camp Hill, PA.
"Soccermoms", "fasterthanyoudbag", "Sub3HourMarathoner", "BostonBQ" and "SpeedyGuy" are all the same person or at least from the same IP.
The same IP address produced the followng:
soccermoms: Who cares if you couldn't find his picture. He ran a great time of 3:11. Get over it already.
fasterthanyoudbag: Absolutely NO proof he cheated. Why don't you do something constructive with your time instead of trying to destroy someone of their accomplishment.
Focus on your on running and goals. You are pathologically obsessed with Mike.
fasterthanyoudbag: He already has. It was the Lehigh marathon. Too bad you weren't there.
BostonBQ: Sorry, pal you can't prove he cheated. You have NO proof. Are you jealous of his accomplishment.
You should celebrate others successes rather and criticize them. Perhaps if you put more work into your training you might be able to qualify for Boston.
SpeedyGuy: Did you check all the other runners to see if they had finish only photographs. I think you owe Mike an apology.

I think all we need now is someone who has corresponded with Mr. Rossi via email to see if his IP is that IP address. Off course it could be a friend or family member doing it, but if it we can prove he's been defending himself under fake names claiming to have run with himself, then I won't have to do any more research at all for my story.
Does anyone have any emails from Mr. Rossi? Look up the iP on them.
LOL, this guy is a great experienced troll. He fooled a bunch of you to believe he is some associate of the cheater. Sub3HourMarathoner's comment is an inside lrc joke.

Between NATing and typical changing IP addresses, that's a non-starter.
Option 1:
Send the guy an email with a valid, unique URL to click on. The http server log will verify it. But, it has to be unique for just this purpose.
Option 2:
Send an HTML email with images hosted at a unique URL. The email client downloads the images and the http server verifies it. Again, it has to be unique URL just for this purpose.
Most of you knuckleheads blindly download everything in html email messages so option #2 is the most likely way forward.

Douglas Rendall (lime green top) is just entering in the distance and at 2:09.23, a dark figure comes from the left but never crosses to the other side. I could be seeing things but that person ends up being Mike Rossi.

Camp Hill isn't very close to where Rossi lives. Doubtful it was his home domain. Probably the work of a sub contractor.

You're asking whether it is possible to jump back in a race after cutting the course? Obviously yes, people do it and get away with it. I don't know what happened in this case, but I'm guessing you could hop out of the woods as if you were taking a bathroom break. The runners you rejoin with would probably just think that you had been in there a while.
Of course it's possible that a course cutter can jump back into a race further on down the line. We know that that happens a lot. However, in this case we know that Rendall and Rossi started and finished the marathon within seconds of each other. If Rossi left the course as people are maintaining, he either:
A. re-entered the course at a point where Rendall just happened to be running by, an amazing coincidence, or
B. He was waiting for Rendall at some point along the course so that he would know when it would be a good time for him to jump back in and not arouse suspicions.
If the latter, then there may indeed be photos or witnesses that saw him milling about on the sidelines.
There is of course option C. He actually ran the marathon and shadowed Rendall from start to finish and had the misfortune of being skipped by the photographers.

BTW, even if you do the above, the dhcp lease on his address may have expired and the troll has a new public address. Typically, those DHCP leases are very long though, so maybe you get lucky.

In the history of the world, I'm pretty confident there has been any human with a 21:52 5k fitness level that has run a marathon in 3:11. Phsyiologically it's impossiblet to go 8 times as far, only slowing down that little.
Wanted to debate that, but I think you're right.
Paula Radcliffe: 14:29/2:15:25...M pace 9.7% slower than 5k pace.
Rossi: 21:52/3:11:30...M pace only 3.6% slower.
Rossi would need to run a 5k in 20:29 to have a similar speed decay as one of the greatest ever had.

if you google "Camp Hill, PA" and "rossi" you can find a few leads on who might have posted that. perhaps a family member?
Anyway, highly speculative. Rossi is a common surname.
