Here is the simple truth. I commented on my Facebook about the news story about the principal, and then later about the cheating. I have a right to do that like anybody else does.
But after each post Mike felt a need to try and intimidate me by posting negative comments to my Facebook Business pages. And it was at that point that HE made this personal. Had he not tried to bully me like he bullied that principal I would not even know about this forum, or the investigation.
So my involvement really comes down to one thing - Mike simply can't keep his big mouth shut and leave well enough alone.
You did not answer any of the questions.
Would be great to understand Mike's reasoning to dislike you as opposed to everyone else.

He looks like Rosie Ruiz at the finish ... i.e. it's evident that he did not just run a huge PR over 26.2 miles on a hot and humid day.
No tweeting, posting, videos of his performance which is at odds with his usual behavior.
The onus then shifts to Mike to provide evidence that he ran the full course.
The only evidence Mike provides that he ran the entire course:
He took a selfie at the start.
There is video of him finishing the marathon.
He says he was either not trying or injured in all of his past races.
It's not simply a preponderance of the evidence that points to he cheated, it's evidence way beyond a reasonable doubt.
Keep arguing everyone about the same stuff that's already been discussed for over 400 pages. You guys can do it.
So, if "Mike wins," given that he was "exonerated" and all that, surely the next thing he should do is sue all the people who have defamed him. After all, he said he talked to a lawyer and that some of the things being written about him were definitely defamatory.
The list of people who have called him a cheater on the LVM Facebook page alone should be worth at least $100,000 total. It's a slam dunk case, given his "exoneration."
Hell, here is a link to a video called "Can You Find Marathon Cheater Mike Rossi???" with the name of the creator included. He should be low hanging fruit for a defamation suit. He has called Rossi a cheater (there's no "maybe," "might have," or "allegedly"), he broadcast it and it has to cause Rossi some damage.

I actually didn't create it, just converted it from a large GIF file into a video and uploaded it to youtube… of course, that is besides the point, Rossi is a lying cheat. No, I have not heard from his lawyer, but I do have copies of threats/intimidation, possibly even death threats he has directed towards me. This thread is full of examples of his bullying, threatening, and attempts at intimidation.

Mike Rossi cheated.
My theory is that you combine the fact that Barb is not an experienced runner with the fact that Mike Rossi IS likely an experienced liar, and she was easily fooled.
My guess is that Mike can be a convincing liar, along the lines of Lance --cocky, dramatic, forceful. Given her lack of knowledge of marathon running, and likely a lack of appreciation of keeping the integrity of the sport intact, she took the path of what seemed the least resistance. She likely, given her ignorance, thought it was possible he actually ran.
In summary, I don't think her decision stemmed from willfully ignoring the facts or being a dishonest person or anything like that. The good thing is that I'll bet she has learned from this experience.
That's right; just keep this baby clicking along until Rossi runs another race, gets divorced, quits running and takes up shooting to get out his frustrations by blowing something to shreds (he posted that on his Facebook page and reads like a thinly veiled threat, but whatever), or whatever other thing he can do to spur on another burst of thousands and thousands of posts.
Can you imagine what happens here when he cranks another 4:00+ marathon!
