Any smearing is a result of Mike's own doing. The facts and his actions (or non-actions in the case of not completing 26.2 miles) are self-smearing and speak for themselves.

I like when Mike posts his middle of the night taunting photos to his Facebook profile. All his medals, his finish line photos, his Charlie Sheen photo, and especially the one from his time share in the Poconos. Mike is living it up.

And with each post the number of friends who like them go down and the number of "friends" who think he's just a douchebag goes up. Even those he has known the longest must be thinking, "Okay, you got a medal at Boston, but you cheated to do it, so why are you still posting this stupid fvcking picture?"

Let's face it. It's fun watching Mike make a bigger and bigger fool out of himself.

Gotta agree with Ken here, I was part of the group but don't want to identify myself and turn this thread in to pages of attacks on me. I actually think Sara and a couple of others have become the disrupters in the group. However, it's all academic unless new evidence is forthcoming, which doesn't look like it's going to happen, but it's good to see Ken is least trying to carry things forward and trying to stick to facts, if not always successfully.

actually I think the thread died a while ago and the smell of it rotting has attracted various lifeforms over the last few weeks: jackals, then vultures, then smaller birds, then rodents, then ants, now maggots, and an occasional eagle like me who swoops in for a look then moves on

What I really don't get is how are new people finding this thread?

When you use Google, it says that there was suspicion by a few, but no evidence that he cheated. And it says that there are crazy people out there.
