That whole "winning" thing was tragic when it involved the destorted view of a drug addict out of control on drugs while his life spiraled down the toilet as he refused help from those that cared about him. Not sure why you have to tell me "STFU" in order to disagree with me. I doubt you would do that to my face, not because I am intimidating but because I just would hope people could be more civil face to face.
At the risk of defying your order to stand down: in the military valor refers to recognition for bravery and conduct in battle and combat I know of no proper use of the term for civilian life although certainly some civilians have acted bravely while in combat situations.
I understand you are saying this guy reminds you of stolen valor but I am saying it is not a proper comparison and suggest you not use it as it frustrates many who served that civilians misappropriate the word valor at all.
Bravery is not limited to the military but valor is defined by being in combat.

I think you are right that courage comes in many people in many times. Ali was courageous as were many others.
I'm older than you think probably. My father fought the goose steppers and toured the death camps. I was in panama. Maybe I am wrong about the definition of valor forgive me if my understanding is wrong or jaded by my years and the meaning has changed.

Just so you know, that wasn't me who said STFU... All though you did misunderstand or take what I posted differently than intended, I wouldn't have said STFU, that was a troll. To me, I only was reminded of Mike Rossi in that he is claiming something he didn't accomplish. He is also very proud of his Boston Medal, and he was attempting to parlay this fraud of hmis into money/fame. Was definitely not comparing valor to an athletic event. But I do feel that Mike is the same type of scum that was featured in that segment. BTW, thank you for your service!

This is the most likely outcome. There is other evidence that is held by a person who doesn't know it yet. Assuming there were a few hundred spectators around the start taking random shots, there will be a shot that shows someone starting the race then walking away. There may even be a shot showing the re-entry point, or showing them parking a car when they should have been on the course. The probability that the evidence exists is more likely when you consider how sloppy the execution of the scam was - mistimed re-entry, not bothering to re-enter before at least one photo point, failing to drench the shirt, the pose after the finish looking as though he had just cruised through a 5km warm-up. Whether it's discovered next week, next year or never, who knows?
