Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

I too will not support any effort to denigrate Mikey boy's gorgeous hair. Say what you will about him being a cheating scum bag with narcissistic personality disorder, but leave the hair out of it. A line needs to be drawn.

Doubler - did you ever hear from Mike's attorney? Like many, I doubt he every had one.

I just have to step in here. I have been with Mike for a very long time. How long? I have no idea because I am just hair from a dead animal and I have no concept of time. But if you look at his pictures from his Dancing on Air days in the mid 80s it's clear we have been a team for quit a while. It was clearly thinning even back then.

But he takes care of me. Washes me. Trims the real male pattern baldness to the exact length every week so that I am not so obvious. Sure I get stares. I notice. He notices. But everyone is really polite and never says anything. And let's face it - it's better than being an all out toupee.

The best part is that I really don't even have to get too sweaty when he runs a marathon. I get a couple dabbles at the end of the race, but for most of the 3 hours I just sit in the nice air conditioned car. How may other runner's hair have that kind of life? None.

So please, pick on Mike all you'd like. But be respectful to his hair. I didn't chose to be his hair. It was just my lot in life.

Ken - hair can't type, regardless of the truthfulness of the source of that hair. A fake hairline has no better chance of being able to type than a real hairline. So, this is just ridiculous.

Fat men are supposed to be funny. You are destroying stereotypes, I suppose that's the only good that has come out of this. But, now I live the rest of my life with the sad knowledge that not all fat men are funny.

Nope, and I really tried to bait him into contacting me along with Kara. If he went after me and it actually went to court he would be forced to prove in court that he actually ran the race. So that isn't happening.

Mikey cheated on a race, stapled a dead squirrel to his head, and made the most narcissistic t-shirt ever. It's sad. It's funny. It's something that If I ever met Mikey at a BBQ, I would slowly, politely mock him to death.

If I ever met Kenny, I would leave the scene quickly ("hey, is that a burger sale at Chili's???? And then run like hell).

Well,of course I would leave my name with the advertising company. Are you suggesting that would be a problem? Like, Mike would sue me? He hasn't sued me or anyone else for calling him a cheater in a variety of other public forums, so I'm not concerned. Calling someone a cheat on Facebook (check the marathon's page) or by pulling the message behind a plane is the same thing as far as defamation law is concerned.

Being sued for calling him a cheater would mean that he would have to prove that he did not cheat. I, as many others, who have focused and analyzed any and all information in the public domain regarding his race time(s) and photos (or lack thereof) are merely expressing an opinion based on the publicly available information. We are not knowingly saying anything that we know to be not truthful. Those who have resorted to talking about personal things and alleging household issues, that may or may not be a different issue.

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.

I'm still curious if he really had an attorney early on (some claim they got emails from his attorney) or if he was firing off emails impersonating an attorney. The latter may be criminal. I don't think anyone who got the emails has confirmed an identity. Maybe his hair can tell us.
