Where's the other 1%? I like the stats guy, he's pretty cool. I wonder if he counts posts that are about how cool he is?

this is just sad. we are instructed by some british woman to stick with the facts and there are no new facts. she claims she has new evidence but doesn't tell anybody what it is and then disappears. i think the speculation of bribes and little green aliens was a lot more fun
I agree. The story of Mike Rossi cheating by itself is not that exciting, mostly sad. He obviously cheated, nobody thinks he didn't. The race directors couldn't care less, which was an interesting twist when it happened. But, once you have gone through the facts, it's everything else that is entertaining. This thread kept delivering in new ways. Ken was pretty good for awhile, until something snapped in his head, but, even that was better than hearing again how Mike couldn't run 3:11. "Yeah, we know he can't, we got that, can't we just watch Ken melt down!" The most recent bout of trolls is the low point, trying to stoke the dying passion by declaring that Mike is a good dude who really ran. However, I'm ok with it because it does keep it going and who knows where it will lead and what will happen next. Even the thread's name being blocked is an interesting twist - whose lawyer wrote to make this happen?

Hi everyone. Don't worry, the RD is reviewing my conclusive evidence this week. Hope to hear something soon.
Oh my God oh my God oh my God - I really feel like this will be the one that puts us over the top!
It's coming, Mike! Can you hear the pain coming?
No way that SmokingGunner is lying to us - he has way to much respect for Letsrun.com and the Mike Rossi Investigation Committee.

Ken's already booked a private room at Chili's so we can celebrate when the DQ hammer comes down!!!!!

That chick was annoying. I'm glad she's gone.

Yeah, I hated that biatch, she was so annoying :D
sara is an expert on how people type. she will get to the bottom of this. you looking at mikes shorts again for your answer? awesome evidence

Great. She's back. Did you bring your buddy Ken with you?
not ken, but was in the group. different people were looking at different things. 3 or 4 different ideas. contacted a couple people. things were organized until sara refused any other idea than her own that mike simply hoppd in the car and drove to the finish. we all know he did that. but here is the truth, sara joined the group, posted her idea and then did nothing until she got in an argument with ken and then came on here and ruined the whole group
at this point i think she's a mole for rossi trying to disrupt the whole thing.
How embarrassing is this for Mike? This guy actually has excuses and just goes and qualifies properly. Jackass on the other hand has to cheat.
And I think you are Mike Rossi trying to mess with Sara and people working behind the scenes to get you DQ'd!
No one likes a spoil sport Ken, especially those who tell fairy tales. :)

This article discusses the point that keeps me following this thread, skimming over the Dance Mom DJs reality show. There are BQ races that make a reasonable effort (including reasonable DQ criteria) to fight cheating and there are those ignore it and/or resist DQs despite more than adequate evidence. Those of you who really care, please contact BAA and ask them to develops criteria beyond the distance of the course for BQ Races.

He's not Mike, he is Ken. He is pretending to be a troll though (and not even a fun one) so am just going to ignore him like I do the sad trolls

The local Lehigh Valley paper could be assigning this story to a writer as we speak. The writer, of course, will have access to evidence that none of us, including Mike and his attorney, have access to. This evidence includes the raw video and photos taken by Harry Fisher at the 2014 LVM. Harry's video at the start of the race probably lasts long enough to see whether Rossi actually crossed the starting mat when he was supposed to, and, if he did, whether he kept running and who was immediately in front of him and behind him at that point. From there, it isn't that far to the spot where the first U.S. Candids photographer was taking shots of all of the participants (except Rossi, of course). Comparing Harry's starting line video to the U.S. Candids race photos from the first photo spot might just be enough new and conclusive evidence for the RD to re-evaluate the DQ decision.
If you love running, if you understand and appreciate the sacrifice it takes to achieve your running goals, if you ever qualified to run the Boston Marathon as the result of dedication and hard work, if you ever failed to qualify to run the Boston Marathon despite your dedication and hard work, if you don't like cheaters, if you don't like liars, if you don't like bullies, if you don't like egomaniacs, if you don't like wedding DJs (just kidding on that one, but wanted to see if you are still paying attention), if you live in or near the Lehigh Valley, or, especially, if you ran in the 2014 Via Lehigh Valley Marathon, I urge you to contact Harry Fisher at Mcalls and let him know you would appreciate the paper checking into this story just a bit further by having someone compare his raw video and photos with the official photos taken by U.S. Candids. If Harry hears from enough folks, I am sure he will tell his editor, who is the person who has to decide whether to assign this to someone.
This is not far-fetched. This is doable. Harry already heard from several people over the weekend. If he hears from a few more, it might just mean the difference between Rossi being DQ'd or Rossi not being DQ'd. Harry's email is
harry.fisher@mcall.com. If you email Harry, please confirm on this page so we get an idea of how many emails he has received. If you have been following this story, but haven't posted in awhile or ever, now is the time to get involved. Let your voice be heard by someone who actually is in a position to do something about this.
I love the fact that this thread still sits at or near the top of the main page despite having no title and no direct access. I thank all trolls for their contributions in keeping this thread alive and well.

Hey everyone, can you use any email address here. It is a bit interesting that Heavy Breather has used an email address and not hid it when posting that is for a Michael Rossi. However, it is not for the same loser Mike Rossi who cheated at the LVM and then lied about it. So don't be fooled.

Question for everyone:
If you had to choose just one piece of evidence to prove that Rossi did not run the entire course in 3:11, what would you choose and why?
I would show this video and explain the probability of missing all 5 photography sections on the course for a top 200 finisher.

Me too, I think that it's impossible to argue that Rossi is innocent after seeking it
