Correct me if I am wrong here, but Rupp
has run 4 marathons and has been beaten by three people total. He’s won 2 out of 4 marathons. He’s beaten, in head to head competition, any number of 2:04 guys. He hasn’t tried a time-trial marathon yet. He’s a competitive runner. If you’re a 2:04 hot-shot and Rupp beats you, what does that say? When the chips are down, who’s the toughest runner?
