I wonder if molly is kickkng herself by not running Boston and going for London instead. She would have killed this race.
Sara said before the start that she hasn't raced in over 6 months. Doesn't sound over raced to me.

Cherono suffered just as much at the end. Some runners are just very good to mask the pain that's internally going on, whereas others are pretty obvious about it.
1 hour ago everyone here said "Kirui is the only one that looks good" - he looked the freshest back then, but was hurting very much inside and couldn't even hang on when the top 3 made their push. He got dropped like a fly, despite being great to mask his pain and looking relaxed.

Desisa no doubt a great athlete and very consistent. He has won Boston 2 times and to come so close to winning a third crown can be very frustrating. I don't blame him for thinking he had it in the bag. Cherono normally winds things early but the fact that Desisa was still on his back that late in the race gave Desisa abelieve he would win. But then again Cherono is a 2:03 marathoner right now. Congrats to Cherono and hats off to Desisa.

congratulations to scott fauble. 2:09 in boston is just excellent for a runner with a pb in the halfmarathon of 63 mins, according to his website. i like his training log, consistent about 90 miles, doubles all the way. nice.

How good could Desisa be if he actually takes care of swaying his shoulders? Seems like he waste a lot of energ that way, and doing that over 26.2 miles really add up.
Did Desisa intentionally try to get in front of Cherono at the end? If that wasn’t enough, it looks like he also threw out his arm to block Cherono? Seems a little unsportsmanlike conduct.
My friend said Ritz was going to be the top American and Fauble was going to run like a$$ LMAO

Shout out for Kate Landau. She was 13th overall and top 5 American. And she is either 41 or 42.
