Semenya only won by .10 at Pre this year.

Makwala is pretty fast. Having said that if either was to lose at this meet, I'd say it is more likely Semenya. Both big favorites of course.

What a 400. Wayde rolled up on Makwala and made up the stagger. I was thinking, "My god how fast is he going. Are we going to get a world record?" ext thing I knew Wayde was behind halfway down the homestretch but he dug deep and won.

Can anyone give me any reasonable evidence that the top 4 guys in that 400 aren't doping?

I'd like to believe in Van Niekerk and Makwala, but they're both too suspicious, especially seeing how much "talent" their countries have suddenly been producing.

The new NBCSN crew is doing a very good job. Actually calling the races as they happen, recognizing all the runners. So much better than what we are used to.

In recent years, I"ve never felt Semenya was capable of 153. If she was, she likely would have done it. She was pressed a lot last year at 700 but always managed to pull away in the final 100. Let's see what happens here.

What a dumb question. Of course nobody can give you evidence. There is no such thing as "evidence" that someone ISN'T doping.

New to the sport? This is track. There is no evidence. You can't accuse because there is no proof; you can't believe because there is no credibility.

I'll be honest, Wayde had a bad race. He had a bad start then when he got out of the bend surged, but over did it and he eased up in the third 100. He looked labored in the home stretch, and didn't blow by Makwala like you'd expect. Also great race by Makwala, he held his composure when he saw Wayde blow by him on the back stretch and ran a ridiculous third 100m and took the lead, and got rewarded with a 43.84.

No, because if she went out and ran 1:52-1:53, CAS would update their ruling and ban her.

Look for 17 year old Jakob Ing. run 3:32-3:33 next year, close to his brother. 27 year old Justus has just set his lifetime best and will not improve.
