What an Amazing Race!! ESP looked so smooth and closed amazing!
If I knew before this race that StPierre was raised on a farm AND a mom, I would have placed my first ever wager on a track event. Goucher with a good call by the way.
She can win a medal in the outdoor 1500m this year. Or does she focus on the 5000m?
Amazing Elle!! Love her!
needs Roka glasses tho, no slip ;-)
She was in the best position the entire race. Very smart.
Dang what a legend. But it's yet another example of why you can't usually set the pace and win a distance event.
Sidenote: Sub-8:50 min for a Steeple medal now. Chepkoech is fully back.
Agreed. She ran a very intelligent, patient race and it paid off. Great performance by Elle.

Better than Seidel’s run IMO.
If we are not counting 800, because Mu is otherworldly, maybe the best female distance performance since like…Joan Benoit? Jenny Simpson 1500 gold?
Hell yes ESP!!!!!

1500 for sure, though selfish I would love to see what she could do over 5000
ESP just beat a field of most of the best mid D and distance runners in the world at a championship. It is world indoors but still awesome to see.

It seemed like Tsegay just did not take her competition seriously enough. Thought she’d just run away from them. She’s like no Faith, no Hassan, no Chebet, this is easy money. She was wrong!
