I made the comment earlier after Colin won the 800 but I'll reiterate: what is the over/under on them both making the team for LA 2028? That would be the perfect NBC storyline if two high school teammates made the Olympics in their hometown. It's not quite mom status but I'm sure they'd hype that up almost as much!
I'm really reaching but I feel like sometime in the last 5 years, there were a sprinter and a distance runner that went to the same HS and competed at nationals. Don't remember who, nor if either made the team.
Depends how big they are and how much fat tissue gets chopped off. I’m sure someone on LRC can supply a theoretical mile time improvement graph, based on breast tissue chopped off.
You are a weirdo with a disturbing focus on the gory details of someone's body and the choices they have made about it. Get a life, go for a run or something.
Even if that were true (It's almost definitely not), are you going to start making rules about people who have their breasts removed for cancer? Or how about a breast reduction? Or are you just going to make these rules up as you go?
Hull, Hall, Hiltz and Johnson might be the pre-race favourties, but true track (smack) fans know the real race is Maclean vs. Mackay. Grr....
Mackay easily retains the smacktalk belt, and is now 4-0 in the smacktalk head-to-head.
Did their beef actually go public? I heard there is ill will between the two but have never seen it publicly aired. Are there thread about this? What’s the beef?

What is Brazier doing? Smith must not be working anymore, or maybe altitude isn’t working for him. Looked awkward out there. Doesn’t his stride look even more asymmetric and bouncy than before??
Let me guess. You also thought Nico was done because of two races in cross. Have you not yet figured out that smith is a savant? Everything he touches turns to gold. It's indoors of a non championship year. You have no idea what his day-to-day training is or where he is with his training coming into this meet. I thought 145 was a great result given how tired he looked. Just chill. I truly wonder if some of you know the sport at all? It’s not some linear progression where everyone keeps getting faster all the time.
Mariah Maxwell wins the Girls 300m in 36.61. Over an 8th grader Camryn Dailey in 37.07 and a frosh Mya Arrendell in 37.47. Sophie Rambo the 500m record holder 4th in 37.60
I'm not at all happy that they didn't all run together in the same heat. The results may have been different. This was like glorified time trialing.
I think the 1500 will be a better event vs the 800m for Colin, especially at championship / Olympic races.
The 800 is much more of a speed event today. I don't know Sahlman's top end speed but my guess is high 47s on a relay. I think you now need at least somewhere in the 46 range to compete at the top level. The 1500 seems like a better fit. He still needs to improve tactically.

His 400 speed is better than that…I think he actually split 45-high allegedly at Big Skys one year. I think the 1500 is ultimately his event but maybe more because I think the 800 is more physical and even more challenging tactically, and he often seems to get pinballed around/running very wide.
