Without Fisher, Hocker would almost certainly ruin his race if he decided to go out behind the pacer at 8 minute pace. I don’t think anyone goes under 8 today because of this.
So does Bullis have something on the Millrose director that Bullis is given as many entries in the inviational events as they want? I know for a fact that a girls 4x8 team and a girl 60 hurdler both tried to get in and theywere bumped because their times were not good enough. the 60 hurdler was faster than the posted times of 2 of the bullis girls. And the 4x8 team had a seed time of 9:46 and did not get in. Bullis girls had not run a legit 4x8 this season.
I hope the HS girls mile gets uploaded to YouTube.
Williams 4:38.69

Quite a weekend for Jaelyn, this after her 9:07/3000 at BU on Friday for one of the top-10 indoor HS girls times ever.
Bartlett went out in 67/70 and paid for it a bit. Williams and Hennessy both had negative splits i believe. Great race on last lap.
Will the boys' mile be televised. They have skipped over it in the past.
I'm old enough to remember when Millrose was on HBO, yes!, ALL Day Friday.
Every race, every relay. With Marty Glickman, who knew everyone in NYC track, commentating.
Do they still have high school and college races like they use to?
Can we stop hiring Ato Boldon to commentate this sport?
