Jakob Ingebrigtsen 3.39.92
Jakob Ingebrigtsen 3.39.92
WL 3:30.77 for Timothy Cheruiyot. Hopefully this will be his year?
FAST! Did Jakob finish??

Why race the 16 yr old SO much?????
He's a headline-grabber.

Doubly impressive given that this was basically a solo time trial for him.
Wow. With every 1500/Mile race this season Centro is looking better and better. He looked small when guys were dropping 3:26s and 3:28/3:29 a year or two ago, but now his ability to close in a tactical 3:32-3:36 championship race looks really good.

Agreed, but what an illustration of Boys vs. Men. He was buried from the gun.

There wasn't much point in having him in that kind of race.
Is it so much?? Better than double up distances in HS meets.
He was supposed to run in a national heat or something, but was invited to join the DL heat, and they chose to do it because he could win at 3:42 lots of times, but wanted a chance to get below 3:40 and towards 3:38-39.
Something in between would perhaps have been better, but he'll see that later this year for sure.
9.69 (+4.8) de Grasse
9.69 for DeGrassi(!)
9.69!!! DeGrasse
Insane
Francine Niyonsaba 1:59. Elated to see whinger Lindsey Sharpe struggling this season.
Wow. Maybe De Grasse will stop Bolt from going out on top?
Luvo Manyonga appears to have pulled Gianmarco Tamberi mere weeks before London.

Add about .20 to the time to make it legit. Fast for sure but not unworldly. Puts him in the mix where he was anyway.
I think Cheruiyot cost himself a sub-3:30 with that silly celebration. Why do they do this?
A great run from him, worth 9.86 without wind. He's setting him self up well for London
