Nonsense. All we need to do is reach out to people who finished near him . He didn't finish in a tight pack, so people should have seen him throughout the race. Someone may have even seen him jump onto the course.

I've looked of photos for about a dozen runners near him and they all have pictures throughout the course. Many of them spot the camerman and smile or preen for him. The guy who had the least number of photos had his bib number folded up so it was hard to read, yet they still got him at three or four locations. Rossi's bib is very easy to read in the finish photo, so they should have had no problem spotting him. If you look at enough photos for people near the front of the pack you could figure out a probability of not being caught on camera.

Very interesting. Makes you wonder whether his whole Boston Marathon/elementary school absence thing was really "viral" or just some very skilled self promotion. It looks like he has started his own company producing wedding events and parties. Looks like he is about to find out whether any publicity is good publicity.

There's no way this guy ran 3:11 at Lehigh. Although it is an easyish net downhill course, there is nothing in his resume to even remotely support such a time.

Actually, it should be easy to prove. He's wearing a GPS watch in the finish line pictures.If Rossi posts his data from that day, this whole thing goes away and everyone feels stupid.

Assuming any of these posts or any of this research is accurate, why is it that both this fool AND Kip are actually like...known personalities to more than their mom and, well, I guess they got married and stuff so kids or whatever.

My point is, I could go cheat at a marathon and the LetsRun insane asylum (which I am not 100% committed in...committed to!) could discover my crime and post mean things on my Twitter account that I never update and tell the rest of the internet how terrible I am...and NO ONE WOULD CARE! I have like 6 contacts in my phone and if I need two of them I just yell up the stairs to my mom and dad. How moronic are people who represent themselves in society and then trump up deeds they did not even do?!

So. Damn. Baffled.

Hey man, don't get mad at the messenger. You don't have to convince me he cheated - I believe it absolutely. But figuring out a probability based on other race results and lack of photos is not enough to get the general public to completely condemn him, based on reactions I've seen from other cases.

I wear a GPS watch. Never upload any of the runs and rarely save them on my watch.

Again, I'm in agreement with you, but he can give a weak excuse for everything so far and the general public will buy it.

There really is no excuse he can give for the complete lack of correlating race results of a 3:11 marathon neither before nor after said race. The difference between a 7:19/mile marathon and a 7:13 5K are like night and day.
