That 3000K steeple is going to be BRUTAL!!!!
By brutal, did you mean Alex Nichols winning by 100 meters? I mean don't get me wrong, 9:45 or whatever isn't bad, and I'm sure a few more guys will drop into the 9:40-10:00 range, but Nichols ran 9:14 last year, plus he was all american in cross this year. He's just in another league than those other guys, same as Boggs in the 5k.
no, i mean because 3000K is almost 1865 miles. That is a brutal steeplechase.
ps-trolled.
so did Daum run 9:44 like it says on the scac performance list - or 9:21 like it says in the actual meet results?

2 Daum, Jeremy Trinity 9:21.05
3 Driver, Mitchell Southplains 9:50.19

Mr. Nichols is going to have an awful hard time winning the steeple by 100m when he isn't even on Colorado College's Track and Field Roster this year, and just recently ran unattached last weekend...
PS: yes a 3000K steeple would be brutal..but just imagine...that's 2997 more times that you'd get to see someone eat it!!!!!!

one of our conference's own!
Tee Hee Hee! steeple crashes always make me giggle. That's also the reason I will never run one... ever.
Mr. Nichols will run fast enough to go back in time, re-enroll in school, and then kick everyone's ass in the steep
oh how i love the old scac trash talking.
Good luck to all SCAC runners!
Zach Brush....1:54 and 4:02 in the same meet?
2 day meet, but still very good.
Zach Brush runs 1:51.97
Chass Armstrong 3:54.83
Trinity must be doing something right in the mid-distance
The more northern schools like Colorado College and DePauw never get in shape as early as the southerners. Things are looking up though. A few qualifying marks thrown in the weekend. Conference is picking up a bit:

Don't discount depth in the field events. This can make or break the Conference champs.
Brush is #2 in the nation right now in the 800m, and Armstrong's 3.54 was amazing. Pomona-Pitzer seems to be the place to go to PR.
Two words: Marsupial milk.
8 ounces per serving, 3-4 servings per day.
Warm, fresh squeezed marsupial milk.
Chass Armstrong enjoys it on his cereal, while Zach Brush is known to chug down a tall glass after doing his afternoon workout.
Marsupial milk.
Where might I get myself some of this milk?
So I was doing my homework on this stuff and noticed Brush only running a 2:01.xx in highschool. What you guys think about this drop from 2:01 to 1:51 in just under a year?
