It seems like the moderation targets on an ideological line - conservative leaning threads seem to stay up while most things remotely left of center seem to be deleted. It would be interesting to see letsrun's internal moderation policies, both spoken and unspoken, but I doubt that will happen.

It's been discussed many times before and we really don't need it again. My point is that it's a shame there can't be a discussion about the one of the top US runners that focuses on his running. Maybe you should be posting on LetsCOVID.com.

It's not your awful opinions that cause the big issues with the site.
It's the same characters using multiple handles to amplify the filth and that a good number of the moderation team (who for some unknown reason can't be named) also hold similar opinions and make use of the unregistered handle situation.
If it was just you guys using your own handles it wouldn't be an issue, particularly if there was a little more transparency as to who the mods are and what/why they're deleting things.

This. I lean right but agree with the left on a few areas (birth control, gay marriage) and the site is even-handed. There's plenty of leftists and conservatives here that get along, probably better than in real life (they can be honest with each other).
