Has he decided to get himself vaccinated? You know....act like a responsible adult?
Has Cole gotten vaccinate yet? I'm serious. He needs to spend more time thinking about the safety of himself and others than about the "dangerous" message boards. Cole cares more about censorship than he does public health. Sad.

Why would he get vaccinated when having natural immunity gives him several times the protection of the vaccine, the vaccine doesn't prevent the spread of the virus, and the vaccine has caused several people to have other health issues. It would be foolish of him to get vaccinated.

Did you know that Fauci despises the notion of natural immunity?
Are you a follower of this movement or just too simple to think about it?
Nothing ever changes in the State of Soylentia: double-masked Karens sticking their veno.ous probosci into every running thread like Marxist- virus -bearing ticks spreading their disease at every opportunity.
he didn't talk any crap about LR. HE didn't advocate for censorship. he just said he stays away from it because reading it is dangerous. sounds like he is more worried about the hype train putting too much pressure on him more than about people talking smack.
He doesn't want to be influenced by all the "increase your mileage" talk. He wants to maintain the structure of his training and build volume very gradually.
Interesting that Coach Thomas thought Teare and Hocker were both capable of running 3:49 prior to them smashing King Ches’s mile collegiate record.

All of these are demonstrably false
- Natural immunity is not better for those not infected. Hocker has never tested positive.
- the vaccine stops spread
- any issues from the vaccines are dwarfed by the potential complications of Covid19 itself

Study more. Pontificate less.

You back these statements with no evidence yet we should believe it. The comrades are desperate rate now. 2022 and 2024 will be a wake up call.
That Olympic Final was the worst case scenario for him to place high. And he still finished 6th, breaking the old Olympic record (after the 5 ahead of him). Makes me wonder what was in store if a 3:35 race.
Let me help you:
New CDC Study: Vaccination Offers Higher Protection than Previous COVID-19 Infection
https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s0806-vaccination-protection.html
this is referencing infected plus vaccinated vs only infected
not only infected vs only vaccinated.
infected without vax is better protection than vaccinated without previous infection.

Please don’t let facts get in the way of that poster’s bias.
So many armchair experts on Covid- you’ve highlighted a prime example here of a person that has no idea what they’re referencing or really talking about.
Seems like a pretty mellow guy who is trying to be the best he can be. Not sure what all the other posters are going on about. For some people, everything has to be about their trigger topic even if it was never mentioned in the interview.

+1
Read this, research this, memorize this. Doesn't get any more true than this.
9 out of 10 people in the ICU are not vaccinated.
Yeah, that article is a (purposely) misleading title by the CDC, meant to make people think that vaccination is stronger than natural immunity - when in fact the Kentucky study is comparing natural immunity from previous infection vs. natural immunity + vaccination.
The Israeli study illustrated that when comparing natural immunity vs. vaccination straight up it wasn't even close:
Natural immunity was 8-20 stronger than vaccination.
The efficacy on vaccination fades drastically over each month, whereas the efficacy on natural immunity doesn't fade nearly as fast.
If you search on Google (which invested $$$ with Pfizer) "Natural Immunity vs. Vaccination CDC" it purposely takes you to that site to mislead a reader and to dance around the actual question which is being asked in a search.
To add another layer, I know multiple runners who have developed either heart arrhythmia and or lasting fatigue issues after taking the vaccine within 90 days of previous infection. One of them is a low-13s runner who almost everyone on this site knows. Please do not suggest that athletes take the vaccine after previous infection, especially when the efficacy on your own vaccine has likely worn off.
You’ve got an interview with a US star, talking about a bunch of stuff including this very forum — and yet all of the discussion here is about COVID. You guys are a broken record. Not everything has to devolve into a COVID flame war.
