You guys thought the wheelchair coverage was bad. Wait until you see ESPN cut away to the Boston Hotdog Eating Contest that’s happening right now.
And we're going to cut away from the final seconds of the hotdog eating contest to interview the women's master's age group wheelchair winner.
Linkletter is starting to fall off - but think this is already a good performance to hang with this intensity for so long
Pizza Break!
Mantz is leading for too much. Will sap energy comapred to the pack
Tiernan looks like he’s jogging. Very very impressive.
And how does Hellen Obiri run like that? She makes Nuguse look economical
It’s great. An American is leading the Boston Marathon. I’m glad the broadcast is stoked about it
are you sure? screen keeps freezing
My goodness Tieran looks relaxed!
Only one woman, Buzunesh Deba in 2014, has ever broken 2:20 in Boston.
14 women are currently on pace for that at the half. Top women are on 2:17 pace -- looks like they don't want to let Hellen Obiri play sit and kick again (though she's still there).
I’m impressed with Clayton so far.

Lemma down, can Theorem still stand?
too early. Linkletter coming back? Or the pack backing off the effort?

The men are in Newton and they’re interviewing Teddy Bruschi.

Wish Mantz would stop leading. Seems like he's setting himself up for an Emma Bates-type performance where he runs great but costs himself a couple places by leading so much
Generally agree, but that's where he's comfortable. He runs that way all the time. It's probably better for him to just run his style of race.
No he did a good job drafting when he ran his half marathon record
CAN WE GET F'ING TEDY BRUSCHI OFF THE SCREEN AND SHOW THE RACE (go birds)

The contrast between the running forms of Tiernan and Mantz is amazing.

Agreed./ Young running a bit smarter than Mantz. Wind is only 6MPH but its coming directly at them.
