Parker Valby is still on her comeback journey. Her latest injury was her biggest one she’s ever had and she’s being patient with recovery so it doesn’t happen again. Remember she’s the NCAA 23’ Cross Country Champion, 3k/5k Indoor NCAA Champion 24’, 5k/10k Outdoor NCAA Champion 24’, finishing 4th in the Olympic Trials 5k and 2nd in the Olympic Trials 10k, making the Olympic 10,000 team running 11th IN THE WORLD. Culminating in her Bowerman Award. Nobody will ever take that legacy away from her, it was Parker Valby dominating every race she was in for over a year. She’s amazing for the sport, and her personality is what keeps people excited about her races. Not every day is going to be your best day and I’m glad she put herself in the mix today during her comeback journey. Better to run than the sit this one out wondering what would’ve happened. Today in Portland, after the race, she was BOMBARDED by fans. She is extremely popular for a reason. Always going to be a huge Parker Valby fan!

The camera makes people look heavier. adds 10+ pounds to every person. If you met these people in person, they would look very thin & fit. I'm not sure what camera(s) they were using, but everyone looks heavier today. It's the wide-angle lense, that's all.
