We've closed this thread to new posts. Please discuss this topic in a new thread given the fact she just won the race outright in 2023. Does that mean that the 2022 cheating allegations definitely have no merit?
47 minutes faster in the final 13.6 miles than the previous race record holder and faster than any male competitor ever. Nothing else need be considered. She cheated.
Anyone who thinks otherwise shouldn't be permitted to vote in elections.
Except that isn’t what happened.
Claiming that others are too dumb to see what you want them to see isn’t proof of anything.
We would all agree that impossible splits are solid evidence, like running miles 12 to 15 in seven or even 12 minutes in a marathon. Or averaging eight minutes per mile and then running the last five at 4:45 pace while missing a timing mat.
Her splits (if you’ll trouble yourself to find what they all were) are not impossible splits. They are fast splits, which should be expected from a record setter.
Come with some evidence. Less ad hominem, more evidence.
Yet none of the lazy people making these accusations have figured out who the crew member even is, whether she is capable of running any of the race, and whether she would agree to do so.
The crew member is Sarah Skeem. Not a sister. She is cabable of running. There is a photo of her running on the course as a pacer. No incriminating info, pictures, video, firsthand accounts that anything funny happened.
The Badwater 135 race director has now publicly posted in detailed support of Ashley Paulson being innocent. And the race director says Ashley's coach is none other than RYAN HALL. This changes everything, with COACH RYAN HALL I consider that like having COACH ALBERTO SALAZAR.
Wow. Did she stop at a spa before crossing the finish line? As someone who has completed in many ultras, including 24 races, my question is where are the salt stains on her clothing?

Nah. How about instead, for every future race she ever competes in, she proves that she didn't cheat. If she didn't cheat in this race, then she will be happy to do so. Of course, we'll all expect wins and near record breaking performances.
My prediction, she starts to keep which races she plans to compete in a secret until after it has already started or finished; she starts making excuses before future races for why she is suddenly so slow; or she retires.

I think her splits aren’t possible but I don’t know the ultra world and I don’t care. But I think your line of arguing is funny: “her splits are fast, which is what you’d expect from a record setter.” But…without those fast splits she wouldn’t be a record setter!
Hey where is she? She knows about this forum. Let’s hear it straight from her. She got something better to do? Any sponsors drop her yet? This is great!
Second, the notion that she needed to charge her watch because it was flat, and that a 17-min charge was all that it took for the remaining race strains credulity.
GPS mode Up to 25 hr./28 hr. with solar With use in 50,000 lux conditions
It's plausible that it was full at the start, there was a low battery alert (10% remaining), and her team decided to charge it a bit to ensure it wouldn't die before the finish. Watches charge quickly due to their small batteries. As an example, my 645 charged from 35% to 68% in 17 minutes.
I'm still curious about the raw files, but my guess is that there won't be anything definitive related to the battery.

Two notes: She tracker her HR which reduces that estimate, and she wore the watch on the underside of her arm (likely to avoid it overheating / burning her) which would have negated the solar charging. My own experience with the Fenix 6 Solar which has a longer battery life is also that I can get 25-30% charge in 15min. It's extremely believable she hit 10 or 20% at the 20hr mark and chose to top it off for long enough to ensure she would finish with it charged.

Not your prediction. It's already been said.
You assume I've ready all 300+ comments on this thread? I haven't. And so, it remains my prediction.

Lol at you pal. Of course you read it, you’re obsessed and probably have a dozen handles. I can assume a lot of things about you, but I definitely know you read it. Hope it makes you feel good about yourself but as others said, you’re late to the party, due try to keep up. By the way, the sun is going to set tonight, my prediction
