Looks like Jim made it to mile 73 at 3:28.
Second place Mark Hammond made it to mile 65.7 at 3:17.
He's like 5+ miles ahead of anyone with 27 to go! Incredible!

Walmsley's pace Ford's Bar was 10 flat. That is a flat section of the course. Maybe a long break at the station?

Last year we ended up waiting a very long time to find out that Jim had stopped along the course and took a nap. It wasn't until several runners each the next station that we learned about the nap. As I recall he napped to recuperate, and intended on running after he rested. He wasn't able to run after and was walking according to runners who passed him.

DHaene is 2nd - 10:02
D'haene into 71! His chip must not be working well.
He's still there. The others are still there. If Walmsley can hold on, he'll win no question, but if not...they're massing behind him
Its now 104F in the shade at the Rucky Chucky crossing. He needs to take his time going through the river and drop his core temp as much as possible

D'Haene is listed at 10:02 at the station in the #2 spot. An update?

Go run 65 miles on rough terrain, then try to keep up with Walmsley running "at most 7 flat."
The "hobby jogging" bullshit is moronic. Dude would run anyone here into the ground.
Never said he wasnt cruising for how far he's gone, but saying that 7 flat is fast or flying or "faster than my 5k pace" is just sad.
I actually really like ultra running but the people who do it and are fans of it can be so annoying.

You claimed you could do 7 minute pace for 70 miles "running" on your hands. So annoying.
