I watched again in slo-mo. At the top of the final backstretch Sahlman was leading on the rail, and Langon moved into lane two to pass Samuel. Langon was running on the inside of lane two and in a straight line. About 25m later Samuel moved to the outside of lane one and bumped Langon. Samuel is behind Sahlman and also just behind Langon. Samuel tried to thread the needle between Sahlman and Langon from behind but there wasn’t enough room, and he bumped both. It becomes a dogfight between Langon and Samuel when Langon leaned in to close the gap just before they enter the final curve. Samuel forced the issue at the top of the curve and pushed both Sahlman and Langon, throwing both off their stride. I initially blamed Langon because he leaned in so hard but he was defending his position. Sorry Marco - Samuel screwed up this race, not you. Samuel DQ was correct.
