Is this a move from Korir? I’m sure after this interview we’ll go back to the race and there will be a leader 200m ahead of the rest.

Lokedi is such a baller, always seems to show up. And came 4th in olympics after a late withdrawal from kosgei so probably didn't have ideal build up

Coverage is bad for every major marathon. It's not political -- it's driven by money. Execs think this kind of coverage will keep people tuned in. There are few people tuned in who can name everyone in the lead pack. So they should do the work to hype up the elite side of the sport & cover the racing. LRC should do some digging and find out why the elite side of races are (always) covered like this.
