Fell, I wasnt responding specifically to you. Just clicked the most recent post. I know you are one of the "good guys." The thread is most interesting when discoveries/observations are made. I was just trying to enlist people to look at Boston 2008 and 9. I couldnt find the right stuff myself but many others can. solklr in his blog mentions baa 5k 2009 but not the marathon.

I am almost positive I worked with Kent Litton when I was on a temp assignment in Chicago in the mid 90's. He went by Ken then. His FB profile is almost exactly as I remember him. Back then there is no way he was a runner, he was way too doughy and his hair cut was only outdated by 5 years as opposed to the 20 now. I am going to contact my old coworkers to see if any of them kept track of him.

I first called him out after the 2009 FP Marathon Relay. I only gave a crap because some guy (KL) that I had a one minute lead on, ended up in front of me without passing me during the race. That's how this whole thing started. Who would have ever thought it would evolve into this?!?!

For the skeptics...there is a writer. I spoke to him for over 30 minutes on the phone on April 28. There is a magazine. Don't know if there is an article. Since he took the time to interview a bunch of us I can assume he's writing something. I know ScottH is real, I'm real, the FP DQ was real. Don't know about anything else in this thread...

Ok, I said I am sorry. My brother is sorry too. We won't do it again. You gotta admit we are pretty good runners for a couple of old guys. But pooping on my porch is a little much don't you think? Can we all just be friends?

D2xccoach, my bro started between mile 8-9 so he was on the course at 9.2- since he didn't have a bib, the photog probably just didn't snap a photo.

Mainly because I've been taking part in online discussion since 1993 and have found if you don't take on the troll in a way that doesn't let them win then the naive segment of the audience gets taken in by them.

Why do I care? Two reasons:

Theoretical:

That some new William Jurena can steal (yes STEAL) from legitimate winners really bugs me. Really. As my new-to-running daughter put it, "Running is hard." Yes, yes it is.

Practical:

I'mma gettin' old, but I can still AG place in certain races (even some classics). I would be LIVID if I were Kipped. Aging sucks, and if I earn (EARN!) an AG award, gosh darnit, I'll take it!

(BTW: I wonder if part of this is that Kip isn't dealing well with the whole "aging" thing...)

Dr. Kip LITTON, DDS of Clarkston, MI - Disqualified at 8 races (so far) throughout the United States. Fabricated 3 races (West Wyoming Marathon, Sandy Springs Half Marathon, & PineHills Orlando 5K). That's 11 boo-boos he's made...11 instances of poor judgment. The reason he's been doing this? I'm, not sure but I'm guessing it has to do with impressing others and maybe customers in his dental business.
