Bumped for today's court session with Brady and Goodell.
No settlement. The judge is expected to rule before week's end.
Update: judge promises a ruling Tuesday or Wednesday.
Looks like it'll come Wednesday.
BRADY FREED!!!!!

Well it's about time... Too bad the judge didn't rule that Goodell should be fired too.
+1
They hate us cuz they ain't us.
Goodell needs to go. If not him, then Pash should take the hit. But there needs to be a reckoning.
This was a witch hunt from the get go. The NFL leaked false information, they had no evidence against anybody, and they gave the Pats and Brady the harshest penalty ever for something that their own guidelines say deserves a $25,000 fine. Even the federal judge laughed at their "independent" investigation aka the Wells report. To top it all off, Robert Kraft falls on his sword for the good of the league and is rewarded by Goodell stabbing him in the back when he was down.
Goodell should go and on his way out he should reinstate the Pats' draft picks and return their $1M.
Has this angle been thrown out yet, maybe I've heard it and am just parroting someone else. Maybe Belickick is the real mastermind of the deflation scheme. Seriously, who runs that show? Belichick, everyone toes his line. So Belichick being obsessive about not fumbling (and I know the report on the whole lack of fumbling thing is flawed, but that doesn't mean he isn't obsessive) feels the lower the ball pressure the better his backs and receivers will maintain control of the ball. Bill B probably didn't give a rat's behind about the difference in Brady's delivery of the ball, believing the best QB in the league will get it there no matter what (although after the balls were inflated to higher levels at halftime of the Indy game, he seemingly threw better). So Belichick has Brady attest that he likes a softer ball and has the ballboys put the balls at the legal minimum pressure. So really Brady can say he never instructed anyone to put the balls at minimum, Belichick, in his role of god on the Pats, dictated the pressure level. Then the rest is history, league too stupid to realize natural affect of cold on a ball, refs unconcerned about documenting ball pressures, Ravens pissed Bill B pulled one over on them in play-off game start squawking, Well's incompetent report, and next thing you know, Goddell is able to keep the NFL in the news through the whole off-season. Well, that's my theory (or someone's if my memory just sucks)...Free Tom...
Haters gonna hate.
If you're replying to me, I'm not hating. I'm for the Pats. I'm giving a scenario where Brady can flat-out say he didn't tell the ballboys what level to set the ball pressure (a legal level at that).
I was agreeing with you.
Alright then, cool.
Terrible Tom gives in & takes the 4 game suspension.
