Happy new year everyone. It seems some posters are not too happy about the 200k offer but believe me it has incredible weight. I have let people I know come to their own conclusions and at this point I can't say that any single person I keep in touch with thinks he didn't cheat. We are indeed all following behind the scenes and the whole twitter thing has become a real crap show. To respond to the poster above, not all of us are dumb :) Most people I know have continued to follow him on twitter and FB to keep up with all his crazy stunts. With that said, it's not only really weird that someone I know has become the bad guy in his own soap opera, but it's also weird that I am addicted to this disaster. I wish all the best for the family, but I lost faith that Mike will do the right thing. I want to note that many people who stayed in touch with him are certainly having a great laugh at the whole ridiculousness of the situation behind his back.

Thought some of you might get a kick out of this. For anyone who has watched the classic movie Groundhog Day, we like to compare Mike to Larry. Just the attitude in general but a few scenes are perfect (bachelor auction).

That's why I said "many" and not "all." ;) I know many of his followers are there for the entertainment value or to keep an eye on him for various reasons. But some still believe and will never be swayed.

His demeanor remains intact so I believe 2016 will outshine 2015 for him and not in the good way. He has personally and purposely sabotaged his own life and deserves no pity unless he does the impossible - confess with sincerity. I have zero confidence he can do this as he continues to use the family as a shield for his failing. He's CEO of The Jerk Store.

I hope Barb McKeever will receive more exposure for her part in this sad saga, which would have burned out by now had she been competent and DQed the fool.

Hi Musicman, always good to have your input, I recall you replying to me that there is nobody he will listen to in terms of starting to put things right but the gun stuff on Twitter seems indicative of someone who feels impotent and is unaware of how deranged this appears and how damaging it is to him long term. There must be someone in the community outside of law enforcement who can reach him about this even if the repeated cheating is a lost cause.

Honestly you evoke the fat socially inept angry kid from elementary school whose clothes never seemed to fit or be clean etc. Growing up one feels retro guilt for not being kinder to that kid and you wonder where they are. With you it is like time traveling back to the guilt free days of picking on the loser dufus kid. People should feel guilty and leave you alone but you can't help yourself and it is so much fun watching you swallow bait time and again.

I have distanced myself since the summer and have run into him a few times since. I was courteous and kept the conversations short. As I mentioned before, I wish him well but he's not the kind of guy who would take constructive criticism very well, so I never felt it was in my place to give him advice. I want to say he's not a terrible guy, could come off as a douche for sure and a little abrasive, but any positive opinion has changed after observing his response and demeanor since this whole thing blew up. There was a specific incident but I can't comment further. I think it's at times like this that someone's character really shows.

From third party input - he's become a mix of more quiet, very defensive and more volatile, showing the typical signs of someone who is dishonest. The previously childish Twitter posts have been taken to a whole new level as you all know. Knowing how much everything on the surface maters to him, I'd say this was a direct hit to his identity. I don't know what he's thinking, but whatever he's doing is not working.
