It could be the Scott Snow who was a high school elite cross country and 800/1600 runner in North County San Diego, a few years ago. He also high jumped. He went to UCLA where he tried the decathlon for a few years, and ran for them as recently as winter season this year. But maybe he used up his Spring eligibility. He had some impressive races in high school, but had injury problems. He high jumped because his Mom was Cindy Gilbert, an Olympian in the 1970s. If it is him, I wouldn't be surprised--on the other hand, 3:40 would be a good PR.
Thanks. It looks he was a multi-eventer who switched last year lke you said. 4:04 indoors so 3:40 is a big PR for him.

They are running on a track. Where the surrounding soil is located is completely irrelevant to running. His natiinality is also irrelevant. All that is relevant is his PR and the time he ran today. If you have to list several superlatives then how significant was it truly??

Looks like NAU's Andy Trouard is redshirting and just ran a 20 second PR of 13:36. NAU is gonna be so strong in XC this fall - that was only their 4th man last year.

Why didn't Mo run the 5000m as a tempo run after losing the 1500m race to Centro?
At this meet in 2012, Mo won a 3:34.66 1500m race and then ran the 5000m as a tempo run...in 13:12.87.
Is Mo getting lazy again?
