I disagree. I thought the leadoff guy would never let go, and he never did. He planted it in the 2nd leg's hand. When that happens the 2nd leg's supposed to run, but Mr. Leadoff kept grasping it for some reason.
I know Scott took the blame, but it just didn't look that way to me.

The bottom line is that the team, any team, has to pass the baton round. They didn't do it. They lost!!
