Andrew Hunter will win Foot Locker by ___ & when will he leave the pack for second place?

That would be awesome if everyone performed their best and that fast, but I don't see everybody almost going under 16. There's going to be mostly from the south, some from the Midwest and northeast guys not performing to how they did at their regional and run 16-16:30 as they do pretty much every year. I do expect there to be only 10 guys at the most under 15:30, as there is no way this field is faster than the past two years(except drew). I call the west will win(2 in the top 6, 1 other top 10 and other two guys will complete the top 5 west earnjng all American) and there will be 28-31 guys under 16. Rocha for runner up, Drew will win by more than 10 seconds if he moves at the 2 mile mark. And if Drew runs around 14:45, rocha will run sub 15 as well with veatch in third, parsons 4th. Garek I call top 6. Jon Davis will either be top 5 or in the 20's- 30's.

Agree that not everyone will go under 16:00 or nearly so. It's simply too time consuming for me to try to figure out every person. This was an approximation of what everyone will run if they don't completely blow up from a fast early pace they can't handle. Also assumes nobody has been sick the past week or two, which unfortunately isn't the case undoubtedly. Typically the guys towards the back hang on for dear life and then blow up hard and that's why they run 16:30s, but to predict that would take me about 5 times as long as the list I already made and I'm not getting paid for it.

I certainly wouldn't argue with anything you are saying either, as it sounds pretty logical. It's been fairly dry in San Diego, so some light showers the morning before the race are unlikely to make the course significantly slower...I think.

Bielaczyc blew his wad at FL West. I seen it, he could barely walk after somebody had to help him. Choking and splitting up uncontrollably. 8th or 9th at best.

The Illinois state course is lightning fast. I've raced about 10 times at Morley field, by far the slowest course I've ever raced on. 14:00 at the Illinois state meet is probably like a 14:30 at Morley, no joke

From a historical perspective, this course is only the same as 30 years ago in geography and layout. Th terrain is nowhere near as fast. The dog park loop alone is a mess.

Compound that with last night's rain and I would say this course will run roughly 15 seconds slower than it did in the 80s and early 90s.

The course reminds me of the year Fout won in 14:50 and although Four didn't ever come up huge again after, that was a huge effort. I'll put Hunter at 14:50 with no one else breaking 15.
