I don't think Katelyn will run faster than 4:04. Wiley is the future of American running.

2) 4:03.08 Nikki Hiltz

4) 4:03.22 Addy Wiley

5) 4:05.35 Emma Coburn

Just missed qualifying for US under 20 record, right? She beat Alexa Efraimson's time but turns 20 late this year....?

Wiley is too old for U20 records. She turns 20 in a few months, October. You can't be turning 20 in the calendar year for it to count as a record.

She was champing at the bit to go faster early in the race and a 61 close is impressive for an 8 second 1500m pr, so it seems clear to me that she can go even faster with a stronger field, maybe even break 4 this year.

Separate from anyone else, you’re a fool if you aren’t tremendously concerned for Wiley. She’s a cancer survivor already. I just hope she’s okay.

regardless of how fast she runs she deserves to be surrounded by people who care about her.

I hope that Addy Wiley runs USAs and makes the World team. I'd have a lot more confidence in her results if she gets some serious drug testing at USAs/Worlds while still running around 4:03.

2nd place immediately came over and congratulated Addy

outside of that short interaction not a single competitor was shown on video after the race hugging, high-fiving, talking, etc. as they all were just trying to catch their breath in their own little world

Addy was in front of the interviewer less than 40 seconds after she finished

Citius Mag posted about the HS 10.89 record but nothing on Addy Wiley…

Is there a reason some of you verbally battle each other about young females who you are not having relationships with? Am I missing something?

The whole vibe was flat considering all the PRs just set.

At the rate she is improving, we should soon be getting to see her reception among the pro ranks.....
