Vipam, have some respect. Even in your list, you put tilastopaja.net, when it is tilastopaja.COM.
And you obviously stole the information about Kosgei from tilastopaja, as malmo was saying.
Be a man and speak the truth and admit your wrongs.
Miss Lone Star, because I know with your attitude your single. It doesn't matter which one you type you will reach the site, are you and Malmo fat and lonely individuals who have no life. I went to other sites and return to letsrun to check it out before I logoff and what do I find another lonely, disgruntled poster desperately seeking attention. Have a nice life this is goodbye to you and Malmo.

back to the subject of the thread:
Some posters feel that Kosgei may be entering events that he feel he can perform better in such as the half-marathon and marathon (not running Kenyan trials track 10000m), well what is the difference between him and Khalid Khannouchi? Several posters feel that Khannouchi should try the 10000m well why shouldn't Kosgei he have a better chance of making his team then Khannouch?
Vipam
How about this Vipam - just do the right thing? Is that too hard for you?
It doesn't matter what an athlete thinks his best event is the Olympics is about pride and wanting to represent your country. The Olympics only come every four years so for Khalid and Paul both to just bypass their trials without exhausting every means to make any team possible is selfish. The two athletes both have a shot of possibly making the 10000m teams if they trained and tried for the event. Yes it is their decision but it says something about top level athletes when they casually bypass an event such as the Olympics and then state they really wish they could represent their country. Years ago when Annie Marie ran the U.S. Olympic marathon trials and placed fourth, she went out and ran both the 10000m and 5000m until she exhausted every avenue of making the team. Thats what pride in your country and the Olympics is about. Annie Marie could have easily ran road races to make money after coming up short in the marathon but she wanted to represent her country. That attitude is what is missing in Khalid and Paul Kosgei.
V, I said it before it is about $$$ plus a lot less hassle, meaning KA athletic politics. V, what is your answer to your own question?

also i beat you to punch & gave credit for the info!

ooops
The problem with Vipam is that he/she has no original thoughts about distance running. He/she just regurgitates information he/she steals from the Internet. I have yet to read an original thought or prediction from Vipam, and I doubt letsrun.com ever will.
Bekele is fast!

seriously you seem alot more intelligent then Viagrapam and the other nusisances so I don't mind answering you. Your post was announcing his world record and I thought the story of him not attempting to get on the Olympic team despite his evidently great fitness warranted discussion. I mean yes it his decision but don't you think that Paul Kosgei could possibly make the Kenyan team in the 10000m and still run a fall marathon?

Viagrapam and mipaV (my moronic friends-LOL)
Tell me one person on here who post an original thought, even most of the training posted here comes from a source that athletes have performed from their coach(es) or friends, someone studied, or read. So why don't you both try something original and try being civil and mature, your old material was funny at first but now its getting alittle old. Later my friends!
Vipam
V, I don't think this cat has "much" of a chance to make the team at 10k. BUT I do think he will make tons of $$$ on the roads in the next 18 months. His 25Km record is worth what...26:36? If he stays fit...
Paul Kosgei will be attempting to make the Kenya team at 10000m according to a recent article "10 athletes skip race" to prepare for Kenyan 10000m trials, so I guess it is possible to do the 10000m and still run a fall marathon. Renato my friend did you have anything to do with presuading Paul Kosgei to attempt to make the Kenyan 10000m team?

Exactly, Vipam and his ilk would give a damn about Koskei and other Kenyans if they were injured tomorrow.
Vipam live your own f***ing life, loser. Let Koskei live his.
