I’m an exhibitionist so I got no problem with that.
It is not normal, but it is nice.
Worst experience I had with it was after Footlocker regionals Midwest someone took my towel by mistake. So I looked at a towel that I know touch somebody else's balls as I air dried.
Man up and do it yourself. Buy some wash cloths and a large beach towel. Wearing your shorts; plus jog bra for the ladies. Wash up outdoors - you can clean most of yourself off without exposing your little friend. Towel off, or let yourself air dry (it takes less time to dry off than you think). Wrap the large towel around you, drop your shorts, dry off down below, and change. When you get home take a normal shower. It is not that complicated.
Its not normal and I've only been to one meet where the school let athletes make use of such facilities. It was conference one year and I thought it was odd, but hey we had a 6 hour ride back, so we took showers.
I think we might have changed or had access to the locker rooms for some hs meets, but even if we did it seemed taboo to take a shower.
Not normal, did happen to me once at the D1 Northeast XC regional race this year, because it was incredibly muddy (and UB had the facilities to support it).
Pretty typical for locker rooms to be provided in my experience. Pretty much all meet programs say if a team wants a shower facility just pay an additional $100 or something and they'll let you use some random locker room. Just depends if you program decided to make use of the opportunity
We don't need to bath every day. This is just a thing Americans do.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
