And how did B. Tarrant manage to shoot up two mosques miles apart (and also a hospital)? Supposedly police made "multiple" (4 or 5) arrests at one site. I'm thinking that not all of this is true, and there's a clever hoax involved.

Given that USA is just one generation away from shooting Asians, you can see how imperative this is.

The US should have Canadian style gun laws at the minimum. Until then, stuff like this will keep happening.

When I read comments criticizing the militarization of police, well of course they have to have powerful weapons. When civilians can arm themselves with pretty much anything, the police need something in case this type of shooting happens.

NZ has just as strong gun control laws as the UK or Australia.

See the difference? One mosque has a defensor, the other doesn't. One mosque had one (1) guy attack it, the other had two (2) guys plus a chick. Guess which did better?
