You could call them out on what they are doing (most guys respond by just calling you a b*tch, but it is so satisfying making them uncomfortable back).

You could flip them off.

Pull out your phone and obnoxiously record them and tell them you'll take it to the police (whether or not you do is a different story)

Pull out some pepper spray and ask them if they want things to get heated.

Or ignore them.

I only retaliate if I'm in a rather public area or can quickly get help.

As crappy as it is, sometimes you can't respond and risk escalating the situation if you're on a backroad or other isolated area.

I've lived in enough places where I go out for runs and wonder, despite having pepper spray and my phone, if that will be the day I get sexually assaulted or beaten up.

Move to a first world country. Never had a problem in germany, but on holiday in forida we constantly had trouble with honking and other staff

Although it may seem totally disrespectful (and it is) the young bundles of testosterone mean well. If you could look at life with the glass half full for a split second you'd realize they are admiring your prospective ability to mother their children. Maybe next time have a little fun, give them a wink and a friendly view. Remember what it was like to be young! Sometimes that includes stupidity. But hey, at the end of the day at least the young dudes think you're hot stuff.

Pepper spray to the face works.

Always be ready to take out your phone and record them. They'll either shut up or continue with what they're doing, which means you'll be recording their harassment.

I'm a guy though and I never really get harassment like that. It's probably because I never run through areas where I'll meet people just standing there ready to spew out shite. I run past areas where the traffic is congested, so if someone tries something like that, you can always pick up a rock - approach their vehicle - and smash the passenger window. However I've never done something like that because I don't get pissed off enough.

The staff was bothering you in forida? That does suck.

This happens to me quite often except it's females in general doing the objectifying and I'm a middle aged man.
