Hi all!
I know this sounds crazy.. but...
I’ve been running anywhere between 50-70 mpw for a long time, maybe 8 years. I progressedup to this point gradually,in the process losing 50 lb.
Recently (in the past 8 months) it seems as though running is starting to work against me. My legs feel lethargic, my pace is 30-60 seconds slower per mile, and I’m just not having as much fun. There is no pep!
Also... my legs seem to be SWELLING! I’m
Not sure if it’s swelling, inflammation, or FAT... but I’ve gained maybe 10 lbs and it seems to e all concentrated literally from the top of my thigh down. Has anyone ever heard of this?
I’m desperate to get back to feeling like myself. This is so frustrating and uncomfortable.
To add... I know it’s not a “calories in calories out” problem as I track prettyreligiously and generally intake 1200-1400 cals per day. Which makes it even more annoying to be working so hard and seem to be going backwards!
Thoughts? Thanks so much I’m advance!
