Hello everyone! I’d like to start off by saying I’ve never been good at running, in fact I’ve hated it my entire life. I just turned 25 and weigh 192lbs. In the past two weeks I’ve started a lifestyle change and am losing weight. Been running on the treadmill every day, not far or fast but I’m doing small incremental increases every day and that’s been motivating me. Just pushing myself a little bit harder every day.
My only question is this, is knee pain common for beginner runners? My knees have been hurting for roughly a week, the pain is fairly bad in the morning and seems to slowly dissipate throughout the day.
