Yea, Kerr is a real wuss. Ran a 4:02 and then 3:57 the next day with supreme closing speed in both races. What a coward! A real runner would have dropped a 3:55 1600m split in the middle of those to get 3rd place in the DMR.
So maybe he mailed it in after realizing that he didn't have it to chase the leaders or even 3rd place. Maybe he lost focus mentally after not feeling his best in a championship race, as many do.
Who cares. Two time NCAA indoor mile champ, one time NCAA 1500m champ. 'Nuff said.
