With IAAF events, we get to watch the WORLD's best athletes. The fastest athletes on the planet compete in their races, and we get to watch those races for free. Dibaba, Yomif, Hassan, etc.
However, with USATF, we get to watch a few class american runners, but the rest are sub-elite, and we have to pay to watch the events. I don't get it. I really don't
Even in Great Britain, they televise track events for free. There is no charge. Now, every resident has to pay a TV license to watch TV , but that's only 147.00 a year, and there is no other charge on top of that. Hell, most people in america are paying 30.00 or 40.00 a month for just basic cable.
We can watch runners break WR and set WL for free, but we have to pay to see american runners run slow times.
funny stuff.
