I was really rooting for him at nationals but he was way out of his league . Seemed to me like it was a big stunt to promote his gum. This is shaping up to be act two of that stunt . He announced 6 months ago he was running it and he has only run a 15 miler to prepare ? Running 25 miles a week ? Sad to see a once great athlete turning into a buffoon to sell some gum . Maybe next he can set a world record in the 800 with a wad of gum stuck to his nose .

A long run of 15 is plenty for 2:50.
