No, the political correctness is AFTER you get hired for paying your dues and volunteering somewhere or spending some time as a GA.
You don’t need to kiss ass to get hired- you just need to be willing to sacrifice some time and grind.
Not entirely true. There are plenty of us that have been working for years and years and have all the credentials but just aren't big ass kissers so don't get the job. Some have no experience or very little and either are a minority or just have the connections. I'm not someone who typically thinks like this but it's very clear from this thread and the lack of call backs I am getting that it is indeed the case.
It's actually a really nice high school track, aside from the javelin area-spray paint on grass, terrible official last year... throwing area is kinda in a dangerous spot....track is really nice though...
He's got his work cut out for him, this program is a disaster!

And I thought I was a hater.. sheesh!
Weird time of the year for Cale to leave. Wonder how quickly WCU will hire. Luckily they have a lot of options with ties to the school but hard to hire mid semester basically. Cale didn't handle this the best
I have an interview at WCU next week. Anyone have any insight on the program?

If you have an interview with Western Carolina, you better know some things about the program. Hopefully you been doing some research. Information is pretty easy to find.
Who is Shane? Any other insight to the position?
I would guess Chris Shane former Eastern Washington coach
