I got to college mid August and since then I gained 10 pounds . I was underweight when I came and still am but my training has increased (either it’s running 8-10 Miles a day with 35 mins cross training or hour and 20 mins on the elliptical or just 12-13 mile days) I also weight train 3x a week for an hour. I always eat around 2500 calories a day and there mostly in eggs, cheese, chicken, fish, fruit, cottage cheese, veggies, wraps, nuts (mayb a cookie or brownie once every other day), and protein bars. Am I gaining muscle. I feel like I’m gaining to much for it to be all muscle but I eat pretty healthy. I tend to gain weight when I increase training in my legs. Is this normal to gain this much while training this much? (I’m at a D1 college running xc and Track)
