There's a great one in Edmonton (Canada).....looks like the weather will be awesome this year.
I cut down on alcohol (no alcohol the night before) and do my carb loading 2 days before the big race. I have a friend who does not eat any salad for the entire week prior to the race because of the potential for gastrointestinal distress.
its race week, i dont smash anything.
i eat good healthy meals same as always.
maybe add in a croissant and some sweet potato 2 days out for the carbs and then keep it light the day before.
but no major changes in diet.
I don't smash or vandalize anything either.
I eat a rather pristine diet but the night before I eat a huge juicy cheeseburger.
You want a little bit of fat to burn.
I eat alot of water
