So for the past month and half ive been experincing weird shin pain. When it first started it was from bouncing back from an ankle sprain in my right ankle. Then after running a tred mill gradually building milage i was experincing pain just behind my left knee and then that went away and so did the pain in my right ankle. However after a few weeks of only running on a tredmill at roughly 6:30 to 6:15 mile pace with a peak milage of about 35 miles per week i began to experince light pain in my right shin a 'twinge' almost like a charlie horse, and that went away after about a week, then i experinced that pain in my left shin roughly four to three inches up my shin, and it felt like a charlie horse pain. Now ive had seven stress fractures before so i can spot the onset of one. So this pain got bizarre when i started to feel it on the outside of my shin the anterior section making me think shin splints, but then there is a pain that i experince on my inner posterior side of my shin too, and there is a spot on my shin that very palpuable, or rather tender. However its npt shooting pain, but its noticeable, after my left leg got to this point i decided to just cross train for ten days and then try running again, and sure enough it didnt feel good, then i took ten more days off, and the odd and frusteating thing is is got got worse from just cross training on an olyptical and biking. So im not sure what it is i was thinking it could be from pressing down on my leg all the time to check to see if there is healing progression. Also the reason why im not sure of its a stress fracture is because of the pain that jumps around to different parts of my leg to the anterior and posterior side, and because of the tendon pain which feels like it could be the posterior tibialis tendon because there is also pain that feels like its running to side of my shin, and i dont feel pain in my sleep. With all of this being said im worried about my injury because its gotten worse from cross training, and the stress fractures ive had in the past have all responded very well to cross training, so i need input on what you think it is, or advice, feedback, opinions, or whatever because im at a lose so please help me whoever you are thank you.
