Just saw it on Facebook. No mention of his time. Any insight from Kenya?

Kiprop has finally stepped up to the real man's event. Good to see and about time.

Almost as talented a moron as Kip Keino, Kenyan Olympic champ in both the 1500 and steeple?

Kiprop is not going to have a successful move to the steeple, will never double those events. He has a better chance in the 800.
But what is really stupid, is risking a first attempt at a steeple one week before the biggest diamond league for milers on the calendar. That race in Eugene is stacked. If kiprop wants to win and worry the others before world's, he can't be fatigued or injured.
They're going to run 3:49 as usual, which for a 3:26 man, is a leisurely jog. He was at no risk of being overly fatigued.

You'd think a 3:50 1500 would be a very leisurely jog...

And one of the most doped. His remarks about his training being disturbed after Aden's arrest were quite telling. Another fraud. Just like him feigning injury in the 2012 Oly Final because he was worried about rumors about "new tests".

Big talent, no brains. That is a bad combination! If he had the same mindset as Hicham ElG or Bernard Lagat, Kiprop would have won every single major competition since 2008 for has not been a better talent than him these last 9 years. That is four world championships and three Olympics.
Kiprop has terrible racing tactics, just see 2015 WC. He won because the pace was fast and he was way better than anyone else.
His non-existent tactics bite him real hard in Rio.

Aden? You realise he's never coached any Kenyans, don't you?

If true, then what a monumental waste of time.
What is the threshold that separates a "hobbyjogger" from a "sub-elite" runner?
Caitlin Clark thinks she can beat Eagles draft pick Cooper Dejean in 1 on 1
Cade Flatt with yet another DNF, this time in the SEC Championships
Do "running influencers" harm the competitive nature of the sport?
