If I register as a woman and beat the female BQ standard by 10min, what are the chances that the BAA allows me to run Boston next year? I have no intention of actually doing this, but I am genuinely interested in any applicable rules and precedents. (I am aware of rules out there that say something to the effect of I would have to be on hormone therapy for a year[?] before being allowed to compete, but I believe that is only at the professional/Olympic level... I am interested to know if anything similar applies to Hobby Runners.)
Maybe this thread will even inspire someone else to try it...
