Considering the solo part, go out quicker. 1:08,1:08,1:09,1:09.
just go out and run 1600 m at 4:35 pace....
67, 70, 70, 68
I like to stagger it a little, for a 4:35 I'd aim for 1:07, 1:09, 1:11, 1:09
I ran a 436 mile at a couple dual meets in high school. One I split 70,70,70,66 and it was extremely easy. The other I split 62,69,72,73 and it was incredibly painful. I later ran 429 but would go out with the leaders in 63. If I went out in 67 or 68, I probably would have run a few seconds faster.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
