Somebody want to explain? Bekele ran 4x the distance that Farah did in the 10k but still blamed his fall on not being able to compete, let alone win.

Please enlighten me, wise one.

He's right. No need for explanation. You are completely clueless

Different circumstances fool. 10k race was slow and marathon wasn't slow. easy to make up ground on the track than it is on the road. How can you even compare Bekele to Farah in the first place lmao
Farah wasn't trying to catch a pack of guys running at world record pace
Viren falls=gold

You would have a lot more time to make up ground in a marathon.

This was my point but clearly I'm clueless so it's not worth arguing with the brilliant Letsrun.com posters
Try running 40 seconds under WR pace and see how "easy" it is to make up ground compared to a "pedestrian" pace in a 10k which you of course couldn't even sprint for 200m still

Slow? May I remind you that the 10k was won by Farah in 27:05. A damn sight faster than the marathon pace.
6/10

That was a pretty lame argument. Good job.
Agreed. Bekele is a softie

And what was the pace when the pack was bunched together when the fall happened?
What if when Farah fell the pack was running under WR pace and he cramped yo at 5k?
Apples & Oranges

In conclusion:

Try again.
Give it up Tony the tiger, we all know this you.

So you need someone to say the obvious? OK. The injuries, if any, from different falls are usually different. Just like someone can fall from being hit by a car and brush himself off without an injury, and another person can fall from being hit by a car and be dead.
